This ballistically matched ammunition pairs range ready Train (T) rounds with threat stopping, technologically driven Defend (D) rounds, with each designed for less felt recoil. The Train ammunition is more cost effective to train with, because it uses FMJ bullets. However, the ballistic performance is identical to Defend ammunition. Defend ammo comes with nickel plated shell cases and jacketed hollow points, which makes them easily distinguishable from the training ammunition.
